Klangwolke

Linzer Klangwolke 2022 is an unusual event held in Linz, in the south of Austria for more than 40 years ago. They were looking for a popular cultural element combining Ars Electronica and Brucknerfest. And it was found! Since then, two million enthusiasts have flocked to the riverside Donaupark for the Linzer Klangwolke, which has become one of the city’s signature events. 

We had the honor of co-creating this event in 2022. As part of a performance on the water titled Mother Gilgamesh, our team performed in two sequences. In the first scene, we played the duel between two hydro jet heroes, played by Artur Zakrzewski and Erik Duesterhoft. In this scene we used several pyrotechnic effects, flares and flaming swords. In the second entry, Artur Z. and Przemek Piotrowiak, together with dancers Klaudia and Marie, played a scene of love and friendship. In an impressive dance over the water, they delighted the 80,000 audience on the shore, and the other number in front of the TV sets.
